Christmas Neutral Eye :)

When I wear eyeshadow during the day time, the majority of times, I will wear a neutral look. Coming up to Christmas I thought I'd add a nice bit of shimmer to it to make it more festive :)

What I used...
Sleek eyeshadow palette 'The Original', Natural Minerals in 'St Tropez' by Pixi, Extravagent Lashes mascara by No.7, Gosh eyebrow shadow kit, Gosh brow gel, Gosh Velvet Touch primer, Gosh Natural Touch foundation in 'Pearl', Sleek Face Contour Kit in 'light', Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in 'Fair', George (ASDA) Moisturising Lipstick in Aubergine.
Gosh foundation brush, some random contour brush, MAC 239, Gosh XL flat eyeshadow brush and Gosh round eyeshadow brush.

Okay! First I used a mattifying primer, such as the Gosh one above, I put this on with my fingertips and then applied a matte foundation over the top using a flat foundation brush in a cross-hatching motion. This will give a flawless coverage. I made sure my base was matte as I didn't want a shimmer overload!
So first I took the Pixi gold eyeshadow and placed it all over the lid, up to underneath my brow using the flat Gosh brush. Then I placed the Pixi brown colour into my crease, using the round eyeshadow brush. I blended this out then worked it up slightly above the crease. (See picture of eye beneath on left)
I then took the gold from my Sleek palette and placed it on the centre of the lid using my MAC 239. I then went into the crease again with the brown from the Sleek palette to add more shimmer. (see picture above on the right)
I then blended this all out and added the white shade from the Pixi eyeshadows as a highlight under the eyebrow. I then concealed underneath my eyes, make sure you conceal last as this will cover up any fall out from the eyeshadow and will brighten your eyes.

I then applied a thin coat of mascara to my lashes, whilst this was drying I filled in my eyebrows with my Gosh brow kit and then set them in place with my brow gel.
I wanted my eyes to look bright and wide so I added some Revlon lashes.
Once the glue had dried I then added a couple of coats of mascara to the falsies to blend my lashes with the false ones.

I then contoured lightly using my Sleek contour kit. I only used the bronzer as it is matte.
I then added my George lipstick to finish the look off with a nice berry lip :)

If the berry lip is too bold for you, I'd recommend a nice nude lipstick such as Inglot 259..

Would you like to see some more make up looks?

I love the gold eye shadow. I usually always go neutral too, but I have been trying to change it up a little bit too. I also just started on here, and I would love some feedback or constructive criticism.

Thanks Jay! Yeah it's good to change it up every now and then. Have left some comments for you :) x

The eyelashes I'm wearing here aren't that great on, adding mascara definitely makes a huge difference to falsies! They won't last as long as they would without adding mascara, but as you said it makes them more bold which is what I love in lashes :)
