My Mum and I went Christmas shopping today, but I needed some basics and obviously a couple of treats for myself ;)
So thought I'd show you all what I picked up.
Loreal Elnette - 2 for £8 (400ml)
I usually get Tresemme hairspray but this was on offer, Tresemme wasn't and I'm feeling a bit poor right now! The offer is on in Superdrug and is for all the Elnette range but of course I'm going to get the Cheryl Cole one!
Cheryl spraying my hair everyday.. don't mind if I do ♥
Batiste Dry Shampoo - £1 each!
If you're a fan of the Batiste dry shampoos and have a Savers Chemist near you then buy it from there. I believe it's just over double the price anywhere else. Got to watch the pennies :)
Girl About Town, 'Sloane' - £2.79
I've repurchased these eyelashes so many times now. They look spidery and I have to trim the outer edges slightly but once they're on they look really natural.
I get mine from Savers Chemists, I'm not too sure if they're available elsewhere.
BeautyCare - £1
These lashes are quite over the top for me and I think I'm going to have to trim the edges, but for £1 I can't go wrong really.
I think they'll be great for a nice dramatic eye in the holiday season!
These are also from Savers. If you're a false eyelash fan like me then get yourself down to a Savers Chemist. They have such a good range for such low prices!
Swallow necklace - £2
I got this little beauty from Primark. I think they're really hit and miss with their jewellery, sometimes they'll have gorgeous pieces but alot of it tends to veer to the tacky side!
This was too cute to leave behind though ;)
Flower ring - £2.50
This ring is also from Primark. This photographs soo so tacky but it's so nice in person! I don't know if I was just taking it at a bad angle but it also looks bigger than it is haha.
You'll have to trust me on this one.. but if you like statement rings.. this is a winner!
Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Intense Repair Lip Balm - £3.49
I think £3.49 for this tube is actually quite steep, but I've been wanting a lip balm that doesn't have Petroleum in for ages. I HATE balms that have it in, they don't moisturise as they claim to do, you just get a greasy layer that doesn't soak into your lips and you can't layer lipstick over it without having to compromise on the quality and colour pay off.
BUT lo and behold I have found a lip balm that actually soaks into your lips, moisturises them, doesn't make them white/waxy looking and preps them nicely for a lipstick!
Move out the way Carmex you have been replaced.
It also tastes of French Vanilla.. yum! So even though it was quite expensive you get 15ml of product and it actually does the job!
I'm in love, I've already noticed a difference in my lips!
All in all I'm quite happy with my bargains today! Just what I needed when all my money is going on Christmas and Birthday presents at the moment!
Picked any bargains up?
